I have been practising yoga and Pilates for over 20 years and teaching professionally since 2010, I am a fully qualified Alan Herdman trained Comprehensive Pilates Studio Apparatus Instructor, Mat Work Pilates Instructor, and am also a qualified vinyasa yoga teacher, .
From personal experience and anecdotal stories from clients, colleagues, family and friends, I really believe that engaging regularly in physical activity or exercise that you enjoy, can work fantastically well to help alleviate some of the stresses and strains of modern day life. I love teaching, and I really enjoy teaching Pilates - this unique form of exercise is easily adaptable to all ages and abilities, can be used to support other sports and activities; as a standalone workout; and to help with preparation or recovery from surgery or injury. Also, as a very proud owner of two new replacement hips (2021 and 2022), I can personally attest to the benefits of Pilates both before and after surgery, helping me prepare, and continuing to support me in my recovery and rehabilitation back to my other passions in life - gardening, walking with my husband and our dog, enjoying the countryside, painting, sewing...

In my opinion, taking time to
engage in activities that help us to relax and renew, and to re-connect with our friends, families and loved ones, is I believe, one of the best ways to bring benefit to our overall health and well-being.

Having taught for many years in studios and centres in London including triyoga, The Life Centre, Chelsea Harbour Club, AK Pilates, The Pilates Studio and most recently Ten Health & Fitness Notting Hill and Maida Vale, I am now based in Suffolk, and offer small group classes locally, private 1:1 Pilates Apparatus Sessions at a small studio space near the A140 close to Eye, and also by arrangement, mobile in-home Pilates Mat Work and Small Equipment work.
